KatePrince William and Kate Middleton met for the first time in 2001 when they were still students at St. Andrews. Allegedly, Prince William was at a fashion show in which Kate Middleton wore a transparent dressthat sparked his curiosity. The year 2003 was the first time they had been dating. Middleton was roommate with Prince William in their second year at St. Andrews. Kate Middleton started to be harassed by media outlets around the time. The harassment prompted several people to seek legal recourse, for example, the members of the royal household and Kate's attorney. In 2007 Kate and William separated because of reasons they did not know. But rumors continued to circulate not long afterward that they had got back together.
