Katherine Jean Bolduan also called Kate Bolduan by professional names is a broadcast journalist from the United States. Her most well-known role is the anchor for the CNN morning program At This Hour. Then, she was co-anchor for the CNN morning news show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. She also spent time in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and events during her time as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the debt limit for the US, as well as debates by the supercommittee. The work she has done for her general assignments included stories on the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. In 2007, she was hired by CNN as a correspondent national for CNN Newsource. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she reported on breaking news and also produced feature-length reports for more than 800 CNN Newsource members. Ealier she worked with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV.
