Sharp is one of the Rochester native, who was educated in clarinet at Hochstein School of Music. She also played piano and cello. The Boston Conservatory offered her a grant for her theatre program at the school. The Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp after she graduated. Sharp chose to pursue a career in theater after completing her Cum Laude degree with a B.F.A. Sharp was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Sharp also played 8 roles in the comedic interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp's theatrical performances include Abyssinia as well as Aida. Apart from her roles on the screen and stage, Sharp has several other unique projects she has written or co-written. Sharp continues to perform and is currently working on a full length album. Sharp is a fan of exercising. She keeps herself fit through boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp resides with her husband and children in Los Angeles.
