Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is an Indian performer, singer-songwriter, and performer. She is mainly involved in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her acting debut was with the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah, born into an Anglo-Indian Family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's Father is a Lawyer in the Madras High Court. She is the younger cousin of an assistant researcher who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai and was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano when she was eight. She was a big geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. She joined The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This group formed the foundation for her music and singing career. While at college she was also a theater artist and performed in stage plays organized by The Madras Players. Andrea was President of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's career in theatre began by appearing in the film of Girishkarnad's Nagamandala. She appeared in the Leo Coffee commercial with Shiva. Also, she was a part of a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. Her performances have been all over India. She played a brief performance at the close of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham is a character in the film. Menon contacted her following the fact that she had performed in the film Vettaiyaadu, to perform as a leading female on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani who is a homewife with a husband who has an affair. She was threatened with a blackmail. Andrea got the part of Kalyani after Simran Shobana Tabu and other actors were approached. The film was released in the early part of 2010 It was announced in the beginning of 2011. play a minor supporting character that was released early in the year. Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha that was released in August 2011. In 2013 she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's love movie Annayum Rasoolum.
