Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in several Broadway productions before gaining into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. In the year 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her acting career between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting in more realistic roles as in contrast to her portrayal of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned her name as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural or The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has been settling down there ever since.
